Time Management Tips for Busy Students

Young Entrepreneur

Arjun Naik used to be a last-minute crammer. Every exam season brought panic, coffee-fueled nights, and mental exhaustion. But one day, he missed a major assignment deadline and failed a course. That was his wake-up call. Determined to change, Arjun started exploring time management techniques. He adopted the Pomodoro method—25 minutes of focused study followed by 5-minute breaks. He color-coded his calendar with deadlines and used Sunday evenings to plan his week. He also learned to say no. No to unproductive hangouts, no to tasks that could wait. Most importantly, he began time-blocking: assigning fixed hours for study, gym, social time, and even naps. The results were astounding. He finished assignments days in advance, had more free time, and his GPA shot up. Now a campus productivity coach, Arjun teaches workshops to help others manage their time better. “Time is the only currency we all have equally,” he says. “Managing it well is your biggest flex.”
